OGRES Motorcycle Club Licensed Hats and Apparel: Artwork and Vendor

On the heels of the great work by Smooth, to lay the foundation, the following vendor is suggested for the procurement of OMC hats and apparel:

The Print Plug

2603 Sundance Road, Suite 101
Nampa, Idaho.  83651

Ray Castaneda    (208) 271-5242

Although vendor is in Nampa, way out in the sticks, it is right off the Northside exit and easily accessible.

There are no minimums with few exceptions. You can have stuff screen-printed or embroidered. All other vendors required 6 to 8 pieces as a minimum.

The artwork shown above is on file, digitized, and ready for your OMC hat or whatever. The only difference from the photos, is of the first crossed piston one, whereas the Harley Davidson bar and shield will be replaced by a XV.

Ray can get almost anything if he doesn't have it in stock. I ordered two hats, both Ricardson 110 Flex-fit, with two of the above pieces of art.

Contact Smooth if you have any questions.

OGRES Motorcycle Club April 2026 Meeting Report

All OGRES Motorcycle Club members, in good standing, were in attendance at the April 2026 meeting. No one could remember this happening in recent memory. The meeting was held at the lovely clubhouse on Sugarberry hosted by Bomber.

Post salutations and handshakes, Taco Bell was served by Ace and we all dug in for a real treat. Taco Bell is the official food provider for the OGRES Motorcycle Club.

Following the mass destruction of many Taco Bell products and the discussion about all the variants consumed, Grim began a discussion about updates to the OMC Constitution and By-Laws.

The following sections and appendixes of the OMC Constitution and By-Laws were updated and reviewed:

Article Four Section A: Member Ages/Yearly Dues

Appendix B - Guidelines for prospects and guests

Appendix C - Guidelines for Leading and Sweeping

Appendix D - Guidelines for Safety and "Trail Boss"

Further notes on the Trail Boss. There will be a Trail Boss for each day of the ride. This position will be set at the beginning of a Run, each day, at the Safety Briefing.

The Trail Boss will be one of the three officers: VP RipCity, Road Captain Gundy or Sgt-At-Arms Duke. The Trail Boss will monitor bio/fuel stops and lunch breaks to allow a reasonable amount of time for the aforementioned activities but not so much as to put the Club overly late at our final daily destination. The Trail Boss will divulge the procedure, for the day, at the Safety Briefing.

One topic that Grim missed at the meeting: riding order of the Club during the Run is not set in stone. If a member is uncomfortable in their current position, they should move to a position of comfort with the appropriate amount of communication.

There was great and fruitful discussion about Appendix D.

Road Captains and OMC officers were given laminated copies of this appendix to allow them to give uniform and informed safety briefings.

The next item on the agenda was a report by Smooth concerning the vendor for the acquisition of OMC hats and apparel. Smooth traveled to three different vendors with varying results. The final verdict was our use of Print Plug in Nampa for hats and apparel.

The Print Plug will allow purchase of "one-offs" both in hats and apparel. They will also print items brought into them.

Each member will acquire their own apparel and hats for themselves. No group orders are needed. The "Crown Patch" artwork is already on file and the "Crossed Piston" artwork will be on file by the end of the month.

Grim finished up the meeting by sharing the unboxing of a new knife by Koenig Knives. It is a Xenon that is one of a kind.

Special thanks goes to:

Ace and Duke for the great food

Smooth for the strong work in finding a vendor

RipCity for the great photography

Bomber for the meeting locale

Next meeting is in May.
